A Sloth's Choice

These photos from my last week's mini trip to Helsinki, where I had a pre-birthday lunch with my mother.

Being the lazy little thing I am, I don't bother doing my hair on a daily basis.
Sometimes even picking up a brush feels like a huge effort.
That's why it's remarkable that I managed to roll on a couple of pin-curls inspired by these lovely ladies.

..And lucky for my that little hat covers all the messy bits of my 'do.
If you're a total sloth like me, then a good 'ol hairpiece is always the way to go.

Another year has passed and I still don't feel like a responsible adult.

That's why it's more than appropriate that I got a Nintendo DS Lite for birthday!
This might sound a bit corny, but I truly feel my life is complete now.

..I did my best to look like an old lady on her way to a bridge game, though.

I've been a huge Monty Python fanatic since my childhood days, but never have I understood the obesession to shrubberies as well as I do now.

You see, I really want a shrubbery. On my head.

Heels Over Head, Any Day

Never have I fallen this hard for any pair of shoes, but I simply can't help myself!
Those black and white winged suede beauties from Minna Parikka's upcoming F/W collection are basically the epitome of aesthetic perfection.

I think I'll start saving up my pennies right now!


..And speaking of aesthetic perfection, here's the designer herself attending to the Independent Handbag Designer Awards.

A Non-Summer-Person

The summer has finally arrived and it has made the last week kind of excruciating for me. Darn my pigmentation deprived sun allergic skin!

Luckily I can still enjoy evening walks in my new little jacket. With a huge bow.
You never really can go wrong with a huge bow.
