The people I saw in Stockholm got me really excited about Scandivian minimalism, well-cut clothes and simple colour schemes.
But the inconvenient truth is that every time I try to dress myself that way I feel a sudden need to stick on a funny hat. Preferably with a bow.

coat: thrifted (originally from H&M)
shoes: Vagabond
scarf: H&M
hat: Doghead Accessories
bag: thrifted
long leather gloves: thrifted
I guess you can't teach a vintage lover new tricks.
But I actually did get some new, black well-cut pieces of clothing.
(In which I'll be probably sticking grannyish brooches in the near future.)
P.S. I'll be posting a lot more about Sweden's lovely capital next week.

I'm loving those shoes!
I understand what you mean! I can't help to add crazy accessories to minimalistic outfits!!!
You look like a Snow White, and I love your coat.
(: i think it's great that you have that need - it makes every outfit "you".
What a lovely coat... so great with the shoes.
So beautiful . Fantastic coat.
I love the colors of your scarf/shoes. That's a great bag as well :)
my friend study abroad in germany last year and said he stuck out like a sore thumb because he wore colorful clothing and most of the germans wore neutrals. european style is so interesting to me.
I was eying on that jacket at H&M I think last year, you're lucky you found it second hand. :) I have the sister version of it which has a more militaristic shape to it. It's getting cold in Finland! P.S. You look great with your own "minimalism". Maybe we can see the Mervi Tapola minimalism tomorrow?
I love your shoes! Their really beautiful!! :D
such wonderful color!
I love you shoes! And the bag :)
i am completely with you. was it chanel that said that we should take one thing off before we step out the door? I do the opposite :)
What lovely contrasting colours!
That bag is ace!
So adorable!
wonderful outfit.
Why go minimalistic when there are funny hats with bows to be worn? There are not enough people wearing funny hats... You must do your part to keep the dream alive!
you look great with red lips. the red hat and the red shoes are so cute with all the black, love your outfit so much.
x

I bought some red vintage booties yesterday and I'm really happy about them. ... But if i had the choice between yours and mine, I'd prefer yours...
