Cheesecake Vintage

Sometimes an Etsy store has it all.
Great selection of goods, fair price point, professional photographs and models that are actually the same size as the clothes.

Cheesecake Vintage is by far one of the best online vintage shops I've come accross in a while.
They specialize in wares dating from the 1930's to 1960's and even seem to have a nice selection of something I always struggle to find, day dresses.

It's a shame I'm in a middle of a saving-up process, but luckily eye candy is always free!

Black and White Goddesses

Even though it's still warm and sunny, I'm in a fall state of mind.
Nothing says fall better than black and white and I don't think anyone can do black and white better than these two ladies.

(I'm still waiting for the day I manage to wonder out of the door without sticking something colorful on, though.)

A Sloth's Choice

These photos from my last week's mini trip to Helsinki, where I had a pre-birthday lunch with my mother.

Being the lazy little thing I am, I don't bother doing my hair on a daily basis.
Sometimes even picking up a brush feels like a huge effort.
That's why it's remarkable that I managed to roll on a couple of pin-curls inspired by these lovely ladies.

..And lucky for my that little hat covers all the messy bits of my 'do.
If you're a total sloth like me, then a good 'ol hairpiece is always the way to go.

Another year has passed and I still don't feel like a responsible adult.

That's why it's more than appropriate that I got a Nintendo DS Lite for birthday!
This might sound a bit corny, but I truly feel my life is complete now.

..I did my best to look like an old lady on her way to a bridge game, though.
